The Ribera del Guadiana wine region is situated in the province of Cácerea and covers an area of 22,000 hectares. The Ribera del Guadiana wine region consists of 80 vineyards (Bodegas), which produce 80,000 hl of wine annually.

Vine varieties
Red:
Garnacha Tinta, Garnacha Tintorera, Tempranillo, Bobal, Cabernet Sauvignon, Graciano, Mazuela, Merlot, Monastrell, Syrah, Piont Noir and Jaén Tinto.

White:
Allarije, Borba, Cayetana Blanca, Pardina, Macabeo, Chardonnay, Chelva (Montua), Malvar, Parellada, Pedro Ximénez, Verdejo, Eva, Cigüente, Perruno, Mosacatel de Alejandría, Moscatel and Sauvignon Blanc.
